Stripped Marlin
LOCATION
Bahia Magdalena is located in
Baja California Sur. We will arrive to San Carlos, a fishing village 3:30 hours from La Paz. (Ground transportation included)
San Carlos it’s a small fishing community on the west coast of the Baja California Sur peninsula. Here we find the habitat of a lot of pelagic animals. Each year, from October to December, one of the most espectacular migrations of stripped marlins happen right here. You can also expect whales, sea lions, turtles and more.
At all times you will be accompanied by a Professional guide, who will ensure that you have an incredible experience! Our professional guide will give a security briefing on the day of arrival at San Carlos.
EXPEDITIONS
A TYPICAL DAY OF MARLIN EXPEDITION
- Departure to the sea at 7:30 am, after having breakfast at a local restaurant.
- Depending on the conditions of the day, we will be looking for pelagic species and hopefully we will find: Stripped Marlin, Sea Lions, Turtles, and Whales.
- We will focus on locating sardine or mackarel baitball for snorkeling while the marlin eat.
- Lunch in the boat (Please let us know of any food restriction).
- Look for more pelagic life and finish off with mangroves and sand dunes.
- We get back to San Carlos around 6:45 pm to rest.
- Dinner at 8:30pm.
